The 2nd Crown Royal Quilt sold for 300 dollars 18 hours after it was posted. Awesome.
Zuzana is such a toddler now. It is awesome. Our favorite game is called "throw things up the stair well and play chicken with them as they come down until we drive Mommy up the wall."
I am so excited for Christmas. We have really been avoiding any form of media which has commercials (i.e. TV, Radio, and secular printed press) so, at least in this house hold, it is Advent again. Thank God!
More and more I less impressed with the casualness of our culture. I think this is because the demands of being a good and godly husband/father/vir require one to purge himself of all laziness and disorded desire of sleep. And I see this new virtue in me as, for sure, not my own doing but the grace of God. It is awesom
I am starting to reformulate my goals for the year. I am surprised how many of my long term goals I got accomplished this year. Writing them down really helps. It is awesome.
Lastly, I am super excited, almost unable to wait to see this awesome movie.

My wife and I are teachers. And as you can tell we are also (occasional) drinkers. Besides these things my wife is an expert quilter, whom has been honing her skills for 9 years hand quilting about 8 quilts a year! We love this quilt, but as we need Christmas money for our children to see their extended family, so we are willing to share this beautiful work of art with you! Unlike other similar quilts on Ebay, this one is both beautiful and made with Love. The bags retain their distinctive shape as quilt blocks. The Gold cord that cinches the bags around the bottles is also sewn into the quilt as a border. This quilt will make a great gift for family, friends, and other loved ones.
I am currently reading George Weigel’s Cube and the Cathedral. There are many good nuggets among the meaty
arguments concerning the current history and cultural convalescence of Europe.
However, there is one that I absolutely must share with you all. It is about
the Source’s of Modern Europe’s Christophobia
The sixth source of contemporary European Christophobia, in
Joseph Weiler’s (a believing orthodox Jew) judgment, is the resentment toward
the late Pope John Paul II’ evident among secularists and Catholic dissents.
The late pope’s undeniable role in igniting the revolution of conscience that
made possible the Revolution of 1989 in east Central Europe, his support for
democracy in Latin America and East Asia, his global defense of religious
freedom for all, his remarkable reconstruction of the Catholic-Jewish
relations, his opposition to war and abortion
(not to mention his enormous personal authority and his popularity with young
people)-all of this is very, very hard to fit into the storyline of late mofernity or post modernityas crafted by European secularists and
dissenting Catholics. They insisted that John Paul II must have been a pre-modern man, of whom nothing serious could be
expected in aid of Europe’s’ democratic future. The
alternative possibility- that John Paul II was a modern man with an
alternative, and perhaps more penetrating, reading of modernity- simply cannot
be entertained.
